Services We Offer
We often have a variety of animals for sale to suit anyone's tastes. We offer breeding stock, show stock, fibre and companion animals, and 4H prospects as well as a variety of additional services with every sale.
Every sale comes with life-time after sale support, registration papers, reproductive and health guarantees and discounted shearing rates.
Sometimes housing males can be challenging. So for those who do not have the space for males, or for those who would like to infuse new blood into their herds, our boys are happy to work for you.
We offer many of our boys for public stud. All of our breeding males are either CLAA, AOA, or dual (AOA & CLAA) registered. Our boys come from a variety of well respected, successful bloodlines, with our proven males consistently producing healthy, quality cria, and our unproven boys representing excellent qualities and genetics which would be an asset to any program.
Guided Farm Tours
Throughout the year we offer educational, guided tours of our farm. We are able to accommodate a range of group sizes, and our tours can include meet-and-greets with our alpacas, an introduction into alpaca farming and husbandry, and information about alpaca fibre and fibre production.
As we are a closed farm, tours are by appointment only. Please contact us beforehand for tour dates and price quotes.
Farm Tours are currently suspended due to Covid19. To be added to our waitlist for notification of when we will resume Farm Tours, please feel free to contact us.
Fibre Arts Workshops
For the fibre enthusiast, we offer a variety of fibre arts workshops on site. We can support groups as large as 10 participants, but for the best experience we recommend groups no smaller than 5.
Our workshops include several felting workshops, such as needle felted sculptures, wet felted dryer balls or soap, and mixed media felting with our Nuno Felted scarf workshop.
We are willing to offer photography at any show we attend. Connie has been taking other breeders photos at shows for several years now, and often is happy to provide copies for anyone who asks. At the moment, all photos she takes are free of charge.
Paityn offers photo re-touching services, for anyone who would like photos with red-eye removed, or hay and such removed from the animal. Photo re-touching is offered free for show photos. Examples of her work can be seen on her art page.
Because we offer our photography services for free, we would like to note that any and all photography services are offered in our spare time, between work, school, and real life in general, so turnaround times are not generally on-the-spot. As well, if we photograph you and your animals at a show, please provide us with some contact information, so we can send them to you!
We are happy to help out if you are at a show and need an extra set of hands! We very rarely bring more than a handful of animals with us, so we often have free hands that are more than happy to help hold animals waiting to go into the ring, or to help handle animals in classes. Just give us a shout, or track us down on the show grounds, and chances are we can help!
We understand that not everyone can take their new herd members home right away, so we are happy to provide a variety of agistment options while new owners prepare. We offer agistment packages for all animals purchased on farm, as well as mentoring to help new owners best prepare for their new additions.
We offer financing options on any animal and package purchases.
We are passionate about alpacas and the alpaca industry, and always happy to share what we have learned with newcomers. We believe good education is the best way to avoid feeling overwhelmed by the prospects of owning a new and unique animal.
As such we offer life-long mentorship and after-sale support for of our customers. If you have questions, we have answers, and we are happy to provide hands-on learning experiences, and over-the-phone and email support for customers who are hours away.
We offer limited alpaca and llama shearing services every spring to the North/Central/Yellowhead Alberta region, with discounted shearing rates for all customers who have purchased animals from us in-province. Our shearing season usually runs from April until June, though it may vary depending on weather conditions and availability, so booking early is important. Booking starts in January, and spaces fill up quick.
For local customers we offer on-site shearing services using our tilt-table, as well as off-site services using matts. Please contact us for a quote and to discuss booking before hand.
